Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian cricketer who won the World Cup, said that Virat Kohli won’t be too worried about his stats or being at the top of the T20I batting rankings. He believes Kohli is more focused on performing well in the T20 World Cup’s group stage rather than worrying about his individual ranking.

During the T20 World Cup 2024 group stage, Babar Azam surpassed Virat Kohli’s record for the most runs in men’s T20Is. Kohli has been struggling to score runs in the tournament so far, managing only five runs in two matches. Against Pakistan on June 9 in New York, Kohli was dismissed for just four runs, which is his lowest score against them in the T20 World Cup.
