Celtics parade 2024 :

The Boston Celtics are celebrating their NBA championship this week with a parade in the city. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced that the parade will be on Friday, June 21, starting at 11 a.m.

The parade will mark the Celtics’ victory over the Dallas Mavericks in a decisive game, securing their 18th NBA title. This win sets a new record, surpassing the Los Angeles Lakers.

The parade route begins at TD Garden on Causeway Street, then goes past City Hall Plaza and Boston Common on Tremont Street, and ends near the Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street.

Weather forecasts predict temperatures in the low 80s in Boston with a chance of thunderstorms. This Friday was chosen partly because it will be slightly cooler than earlier in the week, which is expected to be very hot.

More details about the parade will be announced at a press conference at 1:30 p.m.
