David Johnson dies at 52

Former Indian international cricketer and Karnataka’s right-arm fast bowler David Johnson passed away at the age of 52. He breathed his last on Thursday morning in Bangalore. Born on October 16, 1971, Johnson represented India during the 1990s. He made his Test debut against Australia in 1996 and played a total of 2 Test matches in his career.

David Johnson’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the Indian cricket community. Tributes have poured in from former Indian head coach Anil Kumble to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and other cricketing stalwarts.

Tragically, David Johnson was found dead in his apartment in Bangalore. His cricketing career, though brief at the international level, was noteworthy.
