Julian Assange Freed from UK Prison

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has been released from prison in the United Kingdom. He agreed to plead guilty to breaking US espionage laws and will soon return to Australia. Assange, 52, will admit to one charge of conspiring to obtain and share classified US defense documents. He left Belmarsh prison on Monday and was taken to the airport, where he flew out of the country. He is expected to appear in court in Saipan, a US territory, on Wednesday to be sentenced to 62 months, which includes time he has already served. WikiLeaks confirmed his release and departure from the UK.
